Individual Therapy

I work with clients with a wide variety of concerns, including occupational stress injuries, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, grief, and adjustment. My approach to treatment integrates aspects of many types of therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as treatments geared specifically towards treatment of trauma such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE). I recognize that each person’s needs are unique and tailor treatment to meet your particular situation. My role is to work with you collaboratively to understand the root cause of your suffering and how this is affecting your quality of life. I aim to create a safe space in which we can explore and more fully understand any barriers that may be interfering with your functioning and help you learn new tools and strategies to overcome those barriers. Together we can work on helping you reclaim your life to make deliberate and values-based choices.

Psychological Assessment

I provide comprehensive psychological assessments for diagnosis, including Disability/Pension assessments for Veterans Affairs Canada.

Neuropsychological Assessment

*Not currently available due to COVID-19

The goal of neuropsychological assessment is to provide information about a person's cognitive abilities. This involves testing of a wide range of domains including memory, attention, problem-solving, and other thinking skills. Neuropsychological assessments are often used for diagnostic clarification for ADHD, dementia, brain injury, and other neurological conditions.
